Built on Loverground.
I'm Kevin Erlicher — the artist behind Loverground, a deep house project with 515.7K monthly listeners. I built the system that made this possible from scratch, then moved to Mallorca to live it.
Before this I was in a band that looked like a success from the outside. Sold-out shows. 2M streams on our first EP. Fans singing back lyrics. Behind the scenes we were broke. Nothing translated into real income.
The songs were good. The fans were there. What was missing was a system.
So I spent months researching how Spotify actually works — what drives streams, how the algorithm picks up artists, and how to monetize music in order to live my dream: making a living from music.
I also apply this to other artists — Bella Ora, Kay Moss, Jeremy Ansbro — and the results compound the same way every time.
This guide is everything I wish someone had handed me at the start.
